Gus & China

Gus has been with us for many years. Kyle's mom found him on a back road in December of 2005. She brought him home and asked if we wanted a cat. I said I didn't really like cats, but when I saw him under her Christmas tree that day (fur matted and all) I was in love with him and he has truly been the best cat ever!!

China has been with us since November of 2008. Kyle's brother had her and didn't want her anymore so I decided I would take her, not knowing how that would go over with Gus, who had lived the life of luxury as "the only child" for several years. Lets just say it was not a friendly meeting when Gus and China finally met. It took about 3 months for her not to hiss at him and him not swat at her. They still fight after all this time, but more often than not I catch them napping right by each other!!

Kyle and Me

Kyle and I went to the same high school at Clay City, but didn't really know each other. One year when he was at IU and I was at ISU (at the time) we saw each other at the Clay City Fair, he then emailed me asking me out on a date, and well the rest is history.

Our Story

Kyle and I started dating in April 2004, got engaged in July 2007, bought a house in August 2007, and got married on November 10, 2007. We have great friends & family, two cats, Gus and China, we love doing house projects together, and we are loving life!!
